What are the Grand Wagoneer’s 2023 Powertrain Options?
Just like we saw in the previous model year’s Grand Wagoneer lineup, this year’s models are the perfect blend of style and strength, blending an elegant design with true power and athleticism, resulting in a versatile SUV. There are two powertrain options serving the 2023 trim level lineup. The standard engine is a robust 6.4-liter V8, rated at 471 horsepower, and 455 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with the 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, and 4-wheel drive comes standard across the board. New for 2023, you’ll also find the available 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo engine, which delivers an incredible 510 horsepower, and 500 lb-ft of torque. The Hurricane is designed with fuel-efficiency in mind. When properly equipped, the Hurricane can help the Grand Wagoneer tow up to 9750 pounds, while the Grand Wagoneer’s overall maximum towing capacity tops out at a whopping 9,850 pounds! Other performance features include the Quadra-Lift Suspension System, the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, and much more!
What Features does the 2023 Grand Wagoneer Offer?
The biggest update we’re seeing for the 2023 Grand Wagoneer compared to previous model years is the addition of the new Grand Wagoneer L! This model adds 12 inches of length to the frame, creating a bolder and more imposing silhouette, while also increasing the wheelbase by 7 inches. No matter which Grand Wagoneer configuration you choose, you’ll be treated to three rows of seats, with space for up to eight passengers. You also have the power to fold down both rear rows, opening up a massive amount of storage space. Inside, you’ll enjoy features like four-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated seats, and available quilted Palermo leather upholstery for a stylish and comfortable finish. Other available features include ambient interior LED lighting, massaging front seats, and premium color-tinted glass for a bold and unique appearance in the windows. The Grand Wagoneer also has available luxury features like a front console cooler bin, and 22-inch polished wheels, as well as the Obsidian appearance package, offering sleek black accents.
