The 2023 Wrangler 4xe delivers an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of instant torque for heart-pounding performance off-road and on-road. The torque provided by the electric motor improves rock crawling capabilities and powerful speed off the line. In addition, the Wrangler is the industry's first PHEV with heavy-duty solid axles front and rear standard for impressive traction.

There are a few updates to the Wrangler 4xe for the 2023 model year. Jeep offers two new paint choices, Earl is a silvery greenish-blue, and the limited-edition Reign is a metallic purple. What's the point of driving into the great outdoors and staying all cramped up inside the cab of a car? The Wrangler 4xe SUV allows the elements and comes with a fold-down windshield. The Corning Gorilla windshield is three times more resistant to cracks and chips than a regular windshield. Standard smartphone integration is expected these days, and the 2023 Wrangler 4xe provides it with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Which drive mode is the default mode on the Jeep Wrangler 4xe?
The Wrangler 4xe harnesses the power of electricity, bringing you incredible capability, performance, and efficiency. With E-Selec driving modes, you are put in control of how your Wrangler uses its power. There are three modes to choose from, Hybrid, Electric, and eSave Mode. The default mode is Hybrid Mode providing you with the best of both worlds. This mode combines torque from the 2.0L turbocharged engine and the electric motors. This combination provides maximum horsepower, instant torque, and the best acceleration. Electric power is consumed first. When the battery has more than a 1% charge, it can run in Electric Mode. This allows for nearly zero tailpipe emissions up to highway speeds. The vehicle can run in Electric Mode for up to 21 miles. eSave Mode prioritizes the 2.0L engine but reserves battery power for later. When power demand is low, the engine shuts off. It can also be reconfigured to increase the battery charge as well.
