What is the Most Basic Jeep Gladiator Trim Level?

The Jeep Gladiator in and of itself is anything but basic, even at the entry-level Sport trim. This is mostly because it is unlike any other truck in today's market, featuring far superior off-road capability and segment-exclusive open-air freedom with a removable soft-top, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield. In 2025, the Gladiator comes exclusively with a 285-horsepower 3.6L V6 paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, offering a best-in-class 7,700-pound towing capacity and class-leading payload capacity of up to 1,725 pounds. Other exterior features include black fender flares, black bumpers, 17-inch steel wheels, and 32-inch tires. Inside, you'll find the largest standard touchscreen in its class, spanning 12.3 inches, running Uconnect 5 with some of the industry's most advanced infotainment technologies. Other cabin features include best-in-class rear seat legroom of 38.3 inches, cloth upholstery, eight speakers, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and more.

Level Up with Sport S

The Sport S trim features everything introduced by the Sport trim, along with its own unique set of features. To the exterior, the Sport S adds power-adjustable/heated side mirrors, alloy wheels, a power-locking tailgate, a Corning Gorilla Glass windshield, and more. While the cabin of the Sport S is much the same as the Sport, its safety suite gets significantly upgraded with added features such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, advanced brake assist, and forward collision warning with full stop.

  • Adaptive Cruise Control

Take on the Great Outdoors with Willys

The Willys trim sets itself apart from the rest of the Gladiator lineup in terms of both design and capability. The Gladiator Willys uses a Gloss Black grille, Gloss Black alloy wheels, and exclusive 'Willys' hood decals to stand out from the pack. Plus, the Willys trim rolls on aggressive 33-inch off-roading tires, boasting its rugged nature. A Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential, cab rock rails, and other off-roading features back up that rugged nature. Meanwhile, the cabin is adorned with all-weather floor mats to protect the floors from the elements.

Rocky Terrain, Meet Your Match

The name Rubicon has been part of the Jeep lineup since the Wrangler Rubicon was introduced in 2003, taking the model's off-road prowess to unprecedented heights. The Gladiator Rubicon goes where no other truck dare goes with Rock-Trac 4x4, offering a 4:1 low-range gear ratio and a best-in-class 85:1 crawl ratio, making it perfectly crafted for taking on steep, uneven terrain. The Gladiator Rubicon also features electronic sway bar disconnect, which unlinks the front sway bar at the push of a button to allow for greater front wheel articulation by allowing them to rise and drop further. Other off-roading features for the Gladiator Rubicon include 33-inch all-terrain tires, red 2.0-inch Monroe shock absorbers, high-clearance fender flares, additional high-strength steel skid plates, locking front and rear differentials, and more. The all-new Rubicon X trim is also available, adding a forward-facing off-road camera, a winch-capable steel front bumper, and a steel rear bumper for added off-road capability. Plus, the cabin of the Rubicon X is upgraded with 12-way power-adjustable heated front seats, Alpine premium audio with a removable wireless speaker, a heated steering wheel, and a body-color three-piece hard top.

Kick Up Sand with Mojave

Seated atop the Gladiator lineup is the Mojave trim with its exclusive Desert Rated badge replacing the rest of the lineup's Trail Rated badge. Take the Rubicon, for example, its drivetrain and features are best suited for taking on jagged, steep, rocky terrain. Meanwhile, the Gladiator Mojave is most at home kicking up sand on desert dunes. This is thanks to the locking rear differential, a functional hood scoop, 33-inch all-terrain tires, a one-inch front lift from the factory, high-clearance fender flares, and 2.5-inch gas-charged internal bypass shock absorbers from FOX. These shock absorbers come with segment-exclusive FOX hydraulic jounce adapters to prevent bottoming out. The Mojave trim is also available in Mojave X, which adds the same features that the Rubicon X adds to the Rubicon.
