How Long Does it Take to Charge the Ram 1500 REV?
Built on the strength of the new STLA Frame platform, the Ram 1500 REV is primed for success and designed to set the bar in terms of capability, range, towing, and payload. Drivers are able to add up to 100 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes with 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW on their Ram 1500 REV.
Can the Ram 1500 REV Power a House?
No generator required. The Ram 1500 REV will keep you powered up when your home is properly equipped. When the grid is down, this electric truck can get you back up and running with available home energy charging. The genius engineers at Ram designed the Ram 1500 REV with the ability to become your house's own generator.
Is the Ram 1500 REV All-Wheel-Drive?
The Ram 1500 REV features all-wheel-drive capability thanks to two electric drive modules mounted on the truck's front and rear. This design also offers the potential for future high-performance applications. Rams electric truck also features four-wheel steering with up to 15 degrees of articulation and is designed to provide excellent vehicle maneuverability while parking at low speed, on tight off-road trails, and increases the vehicle's steering response at high speeds.
What is Ram's STLA Frame
Ram's parent company Stellantis has created the STLA (pronounced Stella) frame body-on-frame architecture specifically for full-size electric vehicles. The concept incorporates the battery pack efficiently with full underbody aero panels and an active diffuser. The STLA frame also allows the Ram 1500 REV to offer a more spacious interior thanks to its innovative design. The design team was able to shift the cabin forward and increase cabin length making this truck four inches longer than today's production truck for increased room and comfort while the bed length remains the same.
What Kind of Storage Does the Electric Ram 1500 Have?
Innovative storage features are thoughtfully integrated throughout the Ram 1500 REV. At the top of the list is the new innovative powered frunk (front trunk) with one-touch open-and-close functionality that adds capability and storage. The frunk also offers easy-to-access onboard power and game-changing cargo space with secure, weatherproof protection. Ram's powered mid-gate features mounted jump seats with a removable lower section that allows for multiple flexible seating configurations and enables a pass-through into the frunk that can fit objects up to 18-ft. long
