The 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is the quickest and most powerful Jeep Wrangler yet, loaded with standard off-road performance. The new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 expands the meaning of Wrangler 4x4 capability while giving off-road fans factory-backed V-8 performance and a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds. 

How much horsepower comes in the V8 Wrangler?

The standard engine is a massive 392-cubic-inch, 470-horsepower 470 lb.-ft. of torque from its 6.4-liter V-8 engine. The Wrangler 392 comes with a  functional hood scoop connected to the tri-level Hydro-Guide air intake system. This system sends cooler outside air to the engine and separates water at 15 gallons per minute. This enables the Rubicon 392 to travel in water as deep as 32.5 inches. 

Does the Rubicon 392 come with a lift kit?

A monster of an engine is not all that is new to the Rubicon 392. Jeep gave it an active dual-mode exhaust system. This system does not just offer outstanding sound. It is functional too. The active exhaust system will engage automatically by opening valves in the exhaust under higher engine loads to reduce exhaust backpressure. The driver can activate the system as well with the push of a button. In addition, Jeep gave the 392 a chassis upgrade with a 2-inch factory lift, upgraded frame rails, unique suspension geometry, heavy-duty brakes, and FOX high-performance shocks. The Wrangler Rubicon 392 is the ruler of low-speed downhill descent thanks to the engine braking system, revised transmission torque converter lockup control, and a 48:1 crawl ratio, all of which control vehicle speed without any input for the driver. 

Did Jeep upgrade the interior of the Rubicon 392?

The interior of the Rubicon 392 received a bounce of upgrades to the standard features. The seats are unique leather seats with bronze Rubicon 392 stitching and performance upper bolsters. The steering wheel comes wrapped in leather and offers paddle shifters for the first time in a Jeep Wrangler. The Uconnect system projects on a standard 8.4-inch screen and includes Jeep Off-road Pages that allow owners to monitor pitch, roll, altitude, GPS coordinates, drivetrain power distribution, and tons more vital vehicle information. 

How does the Jeep Sky One-Touch Power Top work?

Customers can add the BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires to their Rubicon 392 for added traction. Buyers can also add the Dual Door Group, which offers both full and half doors in the vehicle’s matching color.  Jeep’s amazing Sky One-Touch Power Top combines the quietness of a hardtop with the openness of a soft-top, all with the push of a button. Drivers push the button, and the accordion-like roof panel slides open, allowing the first and second rows to be open to the sky overhead.
