The Jeep Gladiator is a pickup truck unlike any other! Rather than the classic pickup truck design that you might find in competitors of the Glaidator, this truck sets itself apart from the crowd with its bold and sporty frame that shares a resemblance to the Jeep Wrangler! The Gladiator is also sportier than your average truck, with exciting features like standard 4-wheel drive, standard skid plates, and not one but two off-road trims to choose from! There are four core trim levels that we’ll be discussing today, and those are the Sport, Overland, Rubicon, and Mojave. Depending on the trim level you choose, you’ll be able to enjoy a wide variety of different features. Plus, you’ll be able to access a maximum towing capacity of up to 4,500 pounds, and carry up to 1,200 pounds of payload! Sport
The Sport is the base trim in the 2022 Jeep Gladiator lineup, and it comes with standard features that create a natural sense of athleticism. For example, the Sport features standard 4-wheel drive, and heavy-duty Dana 44 axles. The Sport features 17-inch steel wheels, a push-button ignition, and a dampened tailgate. It also has classic Jeep features such as a removable roof, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield. Its crank windows and manual door locks add to its rugged feel, but it also has tech features like a 7-inch Uconnect 4 infotainment touchscreen, and an 8-speaker sound system.

Overland
The Overland is still strong and sporty, but it offers a sleeker, more upscale take on the Gladiator thanks to its additional features. The Overland comes with side steps for easy entry and exit, as well as larger 18-inch wheels for a bold look. It adds on power windows and door locks, and also features a keyless entry system. The Overland features automatic headlights, heated power side mirrors, and tinted rear windows. Inside, you’ll find an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a larger 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a premium 9-speaker sound system from Alpine. The infotainment system also comes with built-in navigation, and there are USB ports in the front and rear. Other features include dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Rubicon
The Rubicon is up next, and this is a trim level that’s specifically built for rocky, off-road terrain! The Rubicon is equipped with 33-inch all-terrain tires on its 17-inch wheels, and it has a more advanced Rock-Trac part-time transfer case. With this 4X4 system, you can achieve up to an 84:1 crawl ratio, so that you can skillfully make your way through a rugged off-road trail. The Rubicon also features off-road rock rails, steel underbody skid plates, and front tow hooks. It’s also equipped with a front disconnecting sway bar which will enhance your front-wheel articulation. Other features include FOX 2.0-inch shocks, and locking front and rear differentials.

Mojave
The Mojave trim tops off the lineup for the 2022 Jeep Gladiator, and this is the second of the two available off-road trims! While the Rubicon is designed for rocky terrain, the Mojave excels on the sands of beaches, dunes, and deserts! There are many features that help the Mojave navigate sandy environments, and those include all-terrain tires with high-clearance fender flares, a reinforced frame, and FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks. The Mojave also has a front hydraulic jounce bumper, as well as a locking rear differential. This trim level also has a bold and sporty appearance, complete with a Mojave hood decal, and orange interior accents.
